We even have restaurants that will prepare the fish you catch on one of the charter boats caught in the Saugatuck area. "Mariah".  She has a wide 13 foot beam and a length of 35 feet.  She is equipped with all the necessary safety devices and a few extras just in
case.  Miryha is very comfortable yet a true fishing machine.  We boast more rods and reels than we could ever imagine using.  Our average mixed
bag catch of King Salmon, Coho Salmon, Brown Trout, Lake Trout, and Steelhead is 8 fish per trip.  When the fishing is good we catch solid

Captain Mike started inland lake fishing and sailing at a very young age. From there he moved from a stand up jet ski in Lake Michigan to a small sail boat, which was the beginning of marina living. Needing a little more space he moved up to a 28 ft. Carver so he could live on the boat year round, yes even through Michigan winter. Currently, Mike captains a 30 ft Weekender Searay. He is not only an expert boat handler but knows how to run lines and has a feel for Lake Michigan and what baits to use to attract fish. The Kepinkul sport fishing team has placed in several tournaments.

Captain Dave is no stranger to the fishing industry becoming a first mate at the age of 12. At 18, he passed his Captain's test and bought the first Best Chance fishing boat. In 1984, he opened Best Chance Sporting Goods, a successful retail store and Charter fishing business. After the sale of the store in 1998, he was able to fish the Tournament Trail full time.  Captain Dave and fishing partner Captain Bill Bale, are the top tournament team on Lake Michigan with over 45 First Place finishes.  Go charter fishing for Chinook and Coho Salmon, Steelhead, Lake Trout and Brown Trout from their home port of Saugatuck, MI or the many other ports around Lake Michigan that they travel to every year.  In the off season he operates a duck hunting club, a pheasant shooting preserve, and a goose hunting club.
